People are always asking me if we are headed in the same direction as the US housing market. I don't get this question as much as I used to, but I still get asked it. I think people are seeing that we are standing on our own two feet up here in Canada. By the way, my answer is always the same...no. Our lending restrictions are much tighter so buyers who cannot aford to buy, won't be buying. These restrictions are protecting everyone.
